ENTER FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A CUSTOM KNIFE
Salida's Cutlery Store is hosting the 3rd annual " Meet the Maker" - Custom Knife Show Sunday June 28,2009 from 10AM - 4PM. Knife makers from Colorado and beyond will gather together to sell their one of a kind pieces of art. Forging demonstrations will be at 11AM, 1:30PM, and 2:30PM. The show will be at Salida's Cutlery Store on Hwy 50 and G Street and is free to the public.
The group consists of many talented and well known knife makers from Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico. Craig Barr who was invited to the "Virginia 15th annual" Spring Fling Blacksmith's of the Potomac to do demonstrations will be giving forging presentations throughout the day. Many of the knife makers have won awsards ranging from "Best of Show" to "Best Kitchen Cutlery" from renowned knife shows such as the Scottsdale International Knife Show and the PKA Knife Show.
Enter to win a custom knife made by Albert Trujillo valued at $275! The winner will be announced Sunday; winner need not be present to win.
